Guess who Passed? (this time at least)

Before

After
Sarah worked all night fixing up the wagon. Dad and I just dropped it off at a shop to see what it would take to make it run for two more years.

  2. Sarah looked a little nervous sitting in the car in the top picture before she took the test - but she passed with flying colors!! My last time sitting in that long line at the DMV (until I have to take the behind the wheel test when I'm 80)

  3. Oh BABY!!!! The Cornwalls are now 6 for 6. How does it feel? Did you go out and drive, even if it was just around the block by yourself? That is really exciting. Enjoy it while it lasts, b/c before you know if you will be "the driver" on long car trips instead of a passenger. I am so happy for you that is really great to hear

  4. Way to go Sarah! You made it under the line just before they change the minimum driving age to 17 or even 18. Good for you!

  8. Ohhhh boy! Or should I say, "Ohhhh girl!" Another Cornwall kid cruising down Ivy Ave. Sarah is a very good and alert driver. She will do great. The wagon will appreciate her good driving... let's see,,, some (unnamed) sibling was driving when the driver's side got bashed in... and some other sibling was driving when the passenger side got side-swiped... and some parent was driving when the rear got clipped... That is one tough auto and I am sure Sarah will fill it will fluids and TLC. I hope it loves her back - and keeps going (and passing smog tests) for a little while longer.
