I hope everyone in my family knows that one of my favorite actors is Sean Whalen. That might not be a name that is familiar, but see if you recognize him from these pictures. The things I like him in are this and this and this. If you know me at all you might know that I saw him on a flight from LA to SLC when he was going to the Sundance Film Festival. Dad and I were flying up to see Katie in a show. I had seen him the boarding area and then when we boarded and there were two seats by him I had to plunk right down next to him and talk to him. Wish I had had a digital camera or a camera phone in those days.
Well, last week I again saw my friend Sean at none other than COSTCO. He was loitering around the food demonstration area for a long time so I didn't have to follow him aisle by aisle. He looked like he knew the guys that were trying to sell Blendtec blenders. I was in hurry, and since my brick phone doesn't have a camera I quickly left and just had to call dad and relate the story. When I got home Keely Milliken called and asked me if I would make Pasta Salad for 100 for the next day, I said yes and ran back to Costco to get the materials. As I ran through Costco again I heard a familiar voice. It was my Sean, he was now behind the Blendtec booth with his headset microphone asking people what they usually put in their smoothies while he was blending away. It was the saddest thing. It is really sad because while I sat next to him on the plane I found out that he had two little kids. Oh the life of an actor!!!
Mom, I loved the links. I love that thing you do and I haven't seen the milk commercial since it was on TV.
