Tonight we decided, since it wasn't too humid and because Paisley asked, to have dinner in the gazebo. It was a lot of fun. We grilled hamburgers, sautéed asparagus and had some yummy pasta salad. We loved eating outside and can't wait to do it again as often as possible!
On another note our garden is flourishing beautifully! We decided to get some corn going in the back and finally put in the third row the other day. I'm so happy with how huge our squash are. Hopefully soon we'll be eating some of our own home grown produce.
These are a couple of our cute tomatoes. A couple of the plants had a few green tomatoes on them. It's so exciting!!!
That IS so exciting. Hey, and you thought the garden was might not flourish. Looks like it is doing beautifully. There must be some reason they grow so much produce in Kansas. The gazebo looks fun. I would be with Paisley wanting to eat outside.... which we have started doing a couple of times a week ourselves, owen-bytheway.
ReplyDeleteI remember weeding a garden or two or 20 in my day. It looks great! I can't wait to go to Bostn and eat some of the peas my Dad is growing!!!! Yum!
ReplyDeletePaisley looks very happy to be eating in the gazebo. The garden looks fantastic. With this tomato problem I wish that I had a few plants that would be producing soon. Way to go Kansas Cornwalls.
ReplyDeleteWait is that Gazebo in your backyard because it is beautiful. Your garden looks great. I am sure Paisley will love to help her parents see the fruits of their labor.
ReplyDeleteI hope some of those Veggies will be ready to eat by the time we get there as well as a fun picnic.
