Labor day Activities

Labor day brought to our apt. What else? Labor. It is the way the Cornwalls were raised. The labor above is something that would happen on most days, but I'll ENJOY this labor any day of the week.
Marybeth Labored on some very great Enchiladas patterned after the same ones that Mom makes and boy were they good. I labored in the consumption of them.
Marybeth also labored in putting up some more decorations in our apartment.  Our landlord said we could hang whatever we want and so we are doing just that. The picture on the far side is a picture of the Savior that the Hamptons Bought for us and it is way nice, and it actually looks good in OUR apartment.
No labor day would be complete with out a little manual labor with some sort of Powertool. We bought 2 shelf units to put in the closet to help organize them.
There I am, next to my wondrous creation, okay maybe not, But anything you can use a electric screwgun on is always fun and fulfilling when you are done. We had a "productive" day.

  1. I was glad to hear again that Cornwalls celebrated Labor the same way we did, not as a holiday but as a laboring- day! We had a lot of fun! Robb, I really enjoyed your silly captions on this post. Life is never dull with humorous husband!

  2. I will tell you one thing - it was no labor to read your post and enjoy your pictures and good humor. That looks like a pretty nice place in which the Robb Cornwall's live. And it is getting nicer all the time. Good work you two, 'scuse me, I mean good l-a-b-o-r-i-n-g.

Robb, where did you get a cool cordless power drill? I'm not jealous, just wondering.

  5. Well the drill was a gift from Marybeth for Christmas. It was very sweet of her to do that, but I don't think she will mind me mentioning that she got it from her Grandparents that they just had and hadn't used. It is not the most powerful but it get things done, not to mention it sure beats doing it the old fashion way.

P.S. I have a great Wife (the best)
