Did you ever wonder what some of those keys you never use on your keyboard are for? Wonder no more. Take a little time to study the awesome info on this link KEYBOARD.
There is probably something there to save you lots of key strokes and time. And anyway it's interesting to know that some of those keys really do do something useful (except of course most of the "F" keys).
This is pretty much the coolest thing That I have ever seen. I'll have to go through it a few times to get them all down. I knew quite a few, but there were a lot I didn't and wish I had a while ago. Thanks Dad. You rock!!
Since I have to use a laptop at work to do all my work, I rely on keyboard shortcuts a lot because I only have a little button in the middle of my keyboard to control my mouse pointer. There are titles for those who master these keyboard skills, two of my favorites are: Keyboard Jedi and Keyboard Ninja. After going over this list I think I am pretty close to being a Keyboard Jedi.
Good for you Keyboard Jedi/Jason. I'll not be surprised if a couple of the 2nd generation Cornwall's are in the know when it comes to computers. It was interesting for ol' Dad. And then there are some like ol' Mom that are such fast typists they don't take time to worry about shortcuts.
I don't know if I will ever be a Keyboard Jedi, but it is something that I am working on. I think Marybeth is like some sort of Keyboard Ninja. I am really good though with Macs. that is what I work with at work all morning. Unfortunately a lot of the things don't translate to a PC. But it is all still really useful thanks for the link
