OH boy did we have a good time. The Cougars did great and it looks like we are going to have a fine season. It was really hot, but nothing is too much to watch my cougs.
Well it was a big day for Reshirt Quarterback Max Hall. Its like trying to coach the year after Lavell Edwards, if you don't do great it is easy to notice. But Max Hall came out and prove he can be a great BYU Quarterback. He was great in the pocket and was able to get rid of the ball quickly. He went 26/39 and passed for 288 yds. He did great, but it is good to get a game under his belt before UCLA. Ben Olsen (who transferred from BYU) threw 5 touchdowns in his game yesterday, so it should be fun.
The biggest surprise was Reshirt Freshman Harvey Unga. He was awesome. He was always touching the ball wether he was running the ball or catching the ball. He led all the receivers with over 100 yds. The best play was when he caught the ball or ran the ball and someone tackled him and he was close to a firstdown (I heard a guy say that is a firstdown) Then all of a sudden he was up running and ran for about 30 yds or so. it was so awesome, everyone including Arizona thought he was down. But in the replay when he was tackled he rolled over the player and popped up and never touched the ground. It was awesome. it was a really great game.
We hope all the Cornwalls at and watching the game get a good show...
