MHS drama awards (The Siggys) were presented tonight replete with gowns, tuxedos, red carpet, live music and of course, Mr. Segal's putting the years highlights to music.
Rachel was honored with a special award (you have to watch the video) and was also the "Vanna" for the evening. Sarah was inducted in the International Thespian Society. It was a fun evening in a thespian sort of way.
It was such a fun night. Loved Mr. Segal's song - he obviously put a lot of time and effort into it. The theme was masquerade, the decorations were so wonderful and our girls were beautiful and well honored.
ReplyDeleteI used 3 different programs to do the video - 2 of which I have not used for a posted video to date. If anyone is interested for their future use here is the process - 1st I used an audio extractor program to extract the audio part of Mr. Segal's song. 2nd I combined all the stills and did the transitions and effects with Microsoft Photo Story 3 (half of the effects the program did automatically, the rest I adjusted some). Then I saved the Photo Story project as a video. 3rd I uploaded the Photo Story video to Windows Movie Maker, split the "Story" and inserted the video clip of Rachel getting the award. Then added the audio track I had extracted. A few titles and wham, bam done! Somehow it uploaded and processed to Google Video in about 20 minutes. That was nice.

Dad great video work. I loved Mr. Segal's song as the background music. Oh Mr Segal is one of a kind.
