Please keep in mind THIS IS AN ENTERPRISE TO GET IN SHAPE NOT TO PROVE WHO IS IN THE BEST SHAPE THE FIRST DAY, and to all encourage each other. (You know, the old weak link in the chain idea.) So stay at it. The ultimate reward is being enduringly fit and not to drop off with exhaustion into Cinderella's Castle moat just as the fireworks start.

    I have to admit I am very proud of my score. I didn't think I would ever make it that high considering that I had a baby a month ago. I will be excited to see how today goes. I will either beat that record or get 1000 because I am recovering from yesterday.

  6. Jack won't be able to comment for a while but..he is amazing. We had a really fun day yesterday and it didn't feel like we were walking a lot. He done good....but unfortunately on the girls side of it I just can't manage to beat FabMom...I beat the last record you held but you keep raising the bar.

  8. Chloe - Wow, I just barely slid by you - at the very last minute I decided to walk down to the studio last night and walk home with the girls - that helped me with those last couple of steps. We are amazed at Robb!!!!

    Hey fam, how about an addition to the scoring. One (1) extra point for the top female Individual Daily Steps (IDS) Should we do it the same as the overall top IDS that you don't get the point if the female is part of the top HDA?

    p.s. This will clarify how to get the within-10%-of-the-top-HDA extra .5 points: Take 10% of top HDA. Add this to the 2nd place HDA. If the sum is more than the top HDA then the 2nd place is within 10% and gets the extra .5!

  12. Jack, here sorry I was out on an assignment, but I am back here at CTU. It was a very long day, and just so everyone knows how it was done I will reveal my secret to keep its validity as well as my honesty. I woke up a half hour earlier than I normally do, to watch how the red sox did as well as other sporting events the night before while I walked in place, I then did not stop moving my legs until that night. At work I did a lot of up and down stairs, and I walked in place with every activity that we did, Marybeth and I went to the Mall, Craft store, and Grocery Store and we said that we would not leave until we had a certain amount, we then watched a video where you walk a mile be walking in place doing high knees kicks and onther things. the weather is bad here so we were not able to go outside, until we decided to go roller blading while the drizzle continued to fall. (p.s. Rollerblading is fun but it is not that great for numbers, but it is fun) So that is the story, and I can almost promise it will not happen again, It could but who knows. I literally kept my feet moving all day. Marybeth and I are having fun
