We know you were all disappointed to not be there in person Saturday night to hear all 36 singers perform over 60 songs in the 3 1/2 hr. recital - especially to hear your sisters Sarah and Rachel. This video will give you a taste of 21 of the performers, and just 27 of the numbers. But since you all would have gone to the recital, if you were in town, just to hear your sisters their classical number and their show number are included in their entirety. This is more than a video - it is a concert. Sit back and enjoy. It will probably make you all wish you had been there in person instead of just getting 18 minutes worth.
We are very proud of both girls, especially Sarah, this being her first vocal recital.
I have to admit I was wondering if when this video was going to be posted.
ReplyDeleteOk, the fist picture confused me because it looked like Sarah but it was Rachel's dress. I have to admit that I during Sarah's first song it took me awhile to make sure it was her. Great thinking girls, you can wear a new dress by wearing each others. Both were flattering on you.
Sarah, holy cow you sound so good. On those high notes and in a different language. Your vibrato sounds so mature. WOW!!!! I asked myself was Segal there (then I saw that Amy sang so I hope Segal saw you Sarah)
Also cute shoes. Sarah are those the Ann Taylor ones? Rachel I am glad that wedding shoes are getting use.
Rach you are a cute Hairspray crazy girl.
Sarah while you were singing it made me think of my first recital where I grabbed the front of my dress and pulled it up the whole time I was singing. You are miles ahead of me.
(DAD how could your camera hold that much video. Thanks for including all the other Centre Stage kids and for giving the name of the song. I recognized most but not all.)
Does Taylor take lessons from Keely? Also Rach you did well with your Millie song but it just made me realize how much that wig did for you to turn you into Millie.
Is Annie in the future for CSI?
Rach I have never heard that song from Tick Tick Boom. You were um um amazing. That last note rocked.
(DAD, loved that last image with both our steller performers.)
GREAT JOB GIRLS!!! I wish I could have been there but I don't think Elizabeth would have lasted for 3 1/2 hours. LOVE YOU!!!! Keep developing those talents.
Thanks for your comments Katie. Such a response is a big motivation for me to a)sit through a performance looking at a camera screen, b) download c) edit, edit, edit, d) apply special effects, e) save, f) upload, g) process, h) post.... That, and I just like being creative and showcasing my great kids. It's all fun.
ReplyDeleteWay to go girls! You did amazing! I am so impressed! You are very talented ladies. It was nice to see a little Millie mixed in there too! Way to go! Sorry we missed it. Maybe we can get an encore in Florida?
