A Lovely Day!!

I had a great Valentine's day - it started off with having a Waffle Bar at seminary. You can see how neat things looked at the beginning of the morning and you can only imagine after 28 kids made several waffles each that it was quite a mess to clean up. (Next time we get inspiration for a Waffle Bar we are definitely going with Eggos!!!) I love Sister Miramontes so much. We talked and laughed while we cleaned up (we won't say how long we were down there though). I do hope that the kids know how much we love them!!! Had to have two Hoopes to post - they are just too cute to leave out.

After delivering the waffle irons I had borrowed and taking sugar cookies to people I love I was treated to quite a fun Valentine Treasure Hunt. Dad sent me on a 3-hour adventure (all so that he could set up dinner at home). The treasure hunt started out with a phone clue to check a drawer in my room, then off to the glove box in the Jeep, to Bonnie Cards, to the Lemon Building, to Sharie Greens, to the stake center for two clues - I almost tanked on that one - to the arboretum, to the Foothill Building, to the Pasadena library where dad had hid a clue in a book on the third floor, to the Montana, to the office where the last clues were in a "Perfect" place on his computer - and then home. I was greeted at the "Ivy" restaurant where dad had transformed the dining room into a beautiful restaurant. THANKS VALENTINE!!!! You kids have an amazing dad. I love him!!
