OK Costumes

This is my first outfit, a lovely peach to go with my over the top character. The little jacket did a great job at covering my little belly. My belly felt some pressure all night because I had on tights, a mic belt, bloomers, petticoat, and then my skirt. So I was always very glad when the show was over so I could remove all those layers.

This is my outfit for the second act, I just removed the jacket and put a huge bow in my hair. This is what I wore for the big dance number when I looked the most pregnant. The last week the skirt was getting really tight.

Here is my closing outfit when I come out married. Personally I thought this was the best outfit covering my six month belly. The hat was huge and the first few nights it kept falling off my head. The puffy sleeves reminded me of Anne of G
reen Gables.

  1. You all know what I am going to say, so I will just get it out before anyone else does - Katie: those costumes are way better than "OK". But what is the best part is the very cute woman in the way-better-than-okay outfits.

  2. I believe that this is a relatively momentous occasion--the soon to be newest member of the blog is introduced in costume on our shrine of glory!!

  3. What a very very very fun treat to see Katie up on stage. It was such a great production. Dad was sure though (both nights) that Curly would see the light and run away with that cute Gertie. (he was serious!!!)
