ReplyDeleteI was feeling a little sorry for my starving student kids - but you really made things look special!! The library books are a great touch. I love the story of one very poor Christmas for the Clark Hodgkinsons they gave their kids library book as gifts and then took them back in two weeks and no one really noticed, but they had a lot of things to open.

ReplyDeleteI remember when all of us had a job each day whether it was blowing out the candle or pulling the pocket. For a couple years we opened up Christmas books and read them together. Since we are on a budget and I didn't have time to make an advent calander, I went to the BYU Library and Dallin and I will read a Christmas book everyday. For future reference the BYU Library has a great collection of children's Christmas books. I looked for Polar Express, Mom's favorite, but it was only in chinese. The english version is checked out. Thanks for the fun traditions mom and dad.
