Yesterday was the annual "Friend to Seminary Breakfast". It was a grand event (except for the fact that I didn't remember to take pictures until half way through the video - so these are pretty weak). I had a great kitchen team - led by the Three Hoopes - Perry, Marcie and Haylie. I had gotten just about the right amount of food - didn't run out of anything - didn't waste too much. The name of our video this year was "The Chronicles of Zarahemla". Iris Arfman was my editor and really did a great job. There were laughs at all the right places. The turnout was wonderful. It is the thing I worry about the most and those kids totally came through. I have a love-hate relationship with this event - and today it is LOVE!!!
That looks like it was another good year for the seminary breakfast. Way two go Mom!! as well as the students. I am excited to get to see it some time. I haven't heard too much about it but they are always great. Thanks for posting Mom
ReplyDeleteRobb, It really is an excellently acted, dubbed and edited video. Plus it was a clever, contemporay concept. You Mom, like always, pulls it all off miraculously -- getting the movie, shot, edited, dubbed, food for 150, set up, take down. It is truely amazing. Mom is truely amazing.
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to clarify that in the top picture, all of the ladies sitting at the table with the girl in the pink tee came with me. I actually didn't pick any of them up, but I invited each one. There was Delaney Browning, Taylor Winn (who actually got picked up by Vincent Partain-ahh) Samantha Holmes, Stephanie and Kim Federoff, and Lauren Franklin. I was quite glad.
