The first picture we have of Dallin is not with Katie - it is with Jeffrey who met "Brother Anderson" in the MTC. He was Jeffrey's teacher. Here is the story in Jeffrey's own words:
"I can't really remember specifically how it, the idea, came up, but one day the thought came to my head that I should give Brother Anderson Katie's phone number. I wrote the number on a card and put it in my shirt pocket. It took a few days for me to catch him alone. I walked up to him with butterflies in my stomach in anticipation for some reason. As I talked I slipped the card into his shirt pocket and committed him to call and take her on a date. He said that he would."
The rest folks . . . is history. We like this part of the history!!

This was such a great post I can't believe no one made a comment on it. It just can't go into the history books without a comment so I am making a comment on my own post so it doesn't feel so bad!
