Friday night it was all about Paisley and Peaches. Peaches is a new restaurant in Monrovia. The owner is an upstate New Yorker - Nita - who relocated to California 30 years ago. Those familiar with New England recognized the accent and mannerisms right away. We had a plethora of dessert choices and settled on berry pie, peach praline cream cheese pie, lemon shortcake bar and my favorite - red velvet cake!!!! The star of the night was not dessert but that sweet thing - Paisley. Everyone in the restaurant noticed her and then when we got home - (after slides) she entertained us for close to an hour - just sitting there. We thought everything about her was adorable.
That is the cutest baby this side of the Mississippi and the otherside and right on the MIssissippi. Must get it from those fun and cute and of course handsome parents
ReplyDeleteThat girl is completely delectable, and so cute I could just eat her up-similar to what I really did do at Peaches.
ReplyDeleteSpreading it on a little thick - as thick as the creme cheese on that Southern Red Velvet Cake - in the descriptions of the desserts don't you think Mom? Oh yeah, you did mention Paisley.
ReplyDeleteI must say that rach-bach and dad corn are on a roll tonight. I am getting quite the work out with all the laughing I am doing with these comments. And just to note, I am not saying they are and no one else is, it is just that they have made the most comments with the same hilarious consistencies
