Tonight dad and I went to MHS for Open House. It was pure joy talking to all of Rachel's teachers. Just as we were leaving I saw Mr. Troung. Since Rachel is going to have him next year I thought I would put in a good word for her. We introduced ourselves and Mr. Troung acknowledged that he had had other Cornwalls. He proceeded to try to remember all of your names - unsuccessfully I might add. He nodded as I said Jason, Robbie, Katie and Jeffrey. Then his eyes lit up. Jason - he came to school one day dressed as Gilligan. Jason - you still have it "Little Buddy". That made a strong impression. You dress up ten years ago and people still remember.
After Class, After Class. That was my favorite quote from Mr. Trong besides "Okay guys." I had that class somphmore year with Heidi and Abbey. Oh, Mr. Trong will never know what he has given our family. Thanks for the post mom. Love ya
ReplyDeleteI don't think that he really remembers the rest of us, well I guess what I am trying to say is that I am sure he doesn't remember me. I was fred flinstone I don't think he will remember that.
ReplyDeleteI've got a little more news concerning our favorite scientific Easterner; we had an assembly on Thursday, and he was up there with the staff singing-are you ready?-we will rock you and we are the champions, from Queen. His eyes were pretty much glued to the paper, but twas entertaining nonetheless.
