One afternoon we took a few bags of carrots to go feed elk and bison at a nearby wildlife refuge.
On Monday we had a grand time in downtown Kansas City. We stopped at the Crowne Center, which is full of fun, colorful places. After a visit to the Thomas the Train activity area it is a must stop at Chip's Chocolate Factory. We all got a treat, including the treat of seeing the master fudge maker scoop and fling a mix of fudge.
The home of Hallmark is in downtown Kansas City. We walked through the museum and learned about the history and saywall the amazing things that Hallmark does. Next door is a wild kid's play place called Kaleidoscopic. There are tons of fun, bright activities and things to make and create.
Now that was a really fun day!!!
