Memorial Day is a great day to remember those who died in service of our country and in the Cornwall family it was always the time to open the pool at 1213. It was a time to make a splash (literally) with the new swimming suits that the Easter Bunny had brought and to have fun with cousins. There were always burgers cooked by grandpa. I am glad this picture above captured the grill. Anyone see a bottle of lighter fluid around? I like clicking on every picture and see some of the things going on in the background. Oh boy, those were fun, splashy times. Sure glad grandpa kept the house with the pool through the hey days of California living.
