Dad and I received a phone call Wednesday night from Jeff letting us know that he would need to be ordained a High Priest that coming Sunday because he was going to receive a calling to serve in the bishopric. It was our pleasure to jump in the car and be there for that special occasion. Both Reesa and Jeff were asked to speak. There was a special Spirit there. The gathering for the setting apart was particularly touching. Jeff's Stake President gave such wise words and dad gave Jeff a beautiful blessing. It was nice to meet cute Bishop Roberts and Brother Logan. The Lord has made His will known in the lives of the JeffCorns. It will be beautiful to watch the blessings descend upon them.
It was lovely to be in Provo in spring. Seasons are so subtle in California that you can sometimes miss it. These trees are in the parkway of Jeff and Reesa's church.
You will never get any complaints from this grandma to have some time to hangout with Wendy (and Elizabeth, and Daniel, and Seth, and Hannah and Caleb). Here we are learning the finer points of Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches.
Katie hosted a lovely lunch following the three hour block.
Nice to have the Provo gang together for such a lovely reason.
