LOVELY HOLIDAY 05

On Friday - Nov. 20th Sarah and Dad set off on a day that would include some of the traditional things-to-see in London.  On the way they stopped at Leicester Square, to see if any (discounted) tickets were available for a show that evening.  The musical theater is so wonderful on the West End the two wanted to fit in a third production on their trip.  When stopping at the Visitor's Center to see Elder Jensen, from Arcadia, the fact was shared that an LDS actress was one of the leads in the show Wicked.  Savannah Stevenson, known for her role as Mary in the Church's Bible Videos, plays Glinda in the London production.  After spending the day visit London attractions Sarah and Dad had some time to kill prior to Wicked which lead them to Covent Garden and the bustling international crowd and colorful shops and a Spanish dinner of Tapas around the corner from the Apollo Victoria Theatre.  Glinda is particularly spectacularly popularr.

The tube stop exited right at the base of Big Ben.

The National Museum which includes works of the most famous artists in the world.
