Mom's sister, Barb and Richard hosted "Thanksgiving" dinner in their perfectly fitting new home in Mesa, a short distance from Grandma Hodgkinson's. All the local Hodgkinson clan was invited. Sarah enjoyed visiting with cousins she had not seen for ages and they enjoyed visiting with their recently returned-missionary cousin. In Arizona, a nice way to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner is on the pool deck and patio.
The drive home brought another visit to Terri in the hospital. The Mesa Temple Christmas lights had just come on that day and it was on the way home so dad, mom, Sarah and Grandma H. walked the beautiful, grounds. Then it was home to get to bed for an early EDT Saturday morning.

Oh, it looks like a wonderful trip. Thanks for the pictures of the temple, Barb's beautiful house, and all the Hodgkinsons. Wish we could have been with you.
ReplyDeleteIt was such a great trip. One thing that Sarah kept saying over and over and I was feeling it was - we have a great family.
ReplyDeleteThanksgiving dinner on the patio, now that is the way to do it. I'm so glad you were able to go to Arizona for the big family gathering. What a beautiful bunch!
