Well we have had a SUPER Halloween so far this season. Everyone one in this family is pretty super but we decided to take one night to show just how super we could be. Bennett is a big Super Hero lover right now so he was our inspiration for our theme this year.
Bennett is a Super Batman. We got his costume last year after halloween with plans to use it this year. It worked out perfectly and boy does he look good. Marybeth made the Bat that he has in his hand and loved throwing it around the house. The only downside was that Bennett kept saying "The Branch President said No Masks." He wasnt happy to not be able to wear his mask to the party but he looked great
Next is the Cutest Robin you will ever see. Marybet made and put together the entire costume. Emary was not happy about being Robin (she wanted to be Elsa) But once she donned the Cape, Red Boots, and painted mask she ran around the house and yard like she was flying looking for bad guys.
Next is Robert.......I mean Clark Kent. No superhero group would be complete without Superman. After a lot of thought it was decided that Clark Kent would be the most modest over the Cape Crusader. It ended up working out well and besides Superman doesn't get to wear glasses.
Last but not least is the most Amazing, or should I say Wonder Woman of them all. I must admit that the Cornwall Girls make great super heros. Marybeth made quite the transformation to Civilian to what you see before you. She borrowed the costume from a relative but added the head band and boots on her own. And I must admit that the red lipstick was a really nice touch.
This dynamic duo is unlike any other. They were ready and able to take on any criminals. They are the cutest superheros that I have ever met.
Little did we know that BatGirl was going to join our gang but the biggest surprise was the arrival of Riddler an enemy to this Super clan. "Batman" took it upon himself to make sure that Riddler felt his wrath and that he would think twice about trying anything against any civilians
Seth is going to be batman for trick or treating that is funny that Seth and Bennett are the same thing. I love Emary's costume it was cool . Marybeth I love how you made a little bit of your costume .Robbie I love you're the best you turn in to Superman it is cool. Elizabeth Anderson
ReplyDeleteI am thinking of becoming a "bad" guy, just so I will get a visit from a super hero bat-flinging Batman and the best, little sweet Robin ever. I am wondering if Robb had to go around the party most of the night with his hands busting open his Clark Kent shirt. Robb and Marybeth are typecasted in their parts perfectly.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant idea and awesome costumes. This will be one Halloween Bennett will never forget. Robbie and Marybeth you are a super couple and should always dress as super hero's because you look so good. Of course Miss Emary is my favorite. She looks so adorable. Great Job!!!!
ReplyDeleteOoooooookay, these costumes are great/ fantastic / awesome / marvelous / super / any other word synonymous with AMAZING! You pulled this off so well. Let me just say those mini superheroes are too cute, I am about to burst because of the cuteness. I can't handle it...Bennett is so excited to be Batman which makes it even greater and sweet Emary is the most adorable little Robin. I'm glad she was convinced to fall in love with this costume. I mean Elsa's great...but Robin, come on! So, so great.
ReplyDeleteRobb and Marybeth, you both look amazing. I love the Clark Kent version of superman and think it's very fitting. You should wear those glasses all the time. I really hope you did walk around all night with your hands pulling the shirt open. And Marybeth, shoot dang you make a great Wonder Woman! You look so good. Also, Emary's costume is pretty amazing, I'm so impressed with your sewing!

Oh wow oh wow!!! Super is an understatement. I loved Bennett as batman. I loved his utility belt and the bat boomerang - an awesome tool in the arsenal. Now to Robin - So cute and personalized with the red bow, green mask and she can really rock some red boots. I'm glad she enjoyed it - because she was so dang cute. I have always thought Robb was super, but great execution of the costume. Robb - you really look handsome in glasses - You might consider wearing them all the time. Of all the costumes though - I have to love Wonder Woman - Marybeth, maybe it is the attitude, maybe it is the natural beauty, maybe it is the red lipstick, - It is so fantastic!!! Wonder Woman should take a lesson from you. So SUPER!!!! RobbCorns.
ReplyDeleteWhy are your costumes so great? BECAUSE OF BATMAN!!!! You guys, I didn't think The Justice League movie was coming out for like 5 more years but here they are, ready to save the day. Robb, I'd let you rescue me any day. Marybeth, I wouldn't want to be a bad guy with you around. Love the sauce. Bennett, you are the most obedient Batman I've ever met. And Robin....what are you doing this Friday night? Wanna be my sidekick for a night?
