This past Sunday evening Mom and Dad made the rounds at a couple open houses. At the Dodds Mom hooked up with her black n' white striped buddies. Mom has on her brand new top from her recent school clothes shopping trip. (p.s. - They should have done the Charlies Angels pose. They are perfect - blond, brunette, black hair and beautiful.) After a few minutes inside another gal showed up in a black n' white striped skirt and then another in a black n' white striped dress. There were a lot of giggles. Mom is HIP.
The open house (1) was for Paula Martinez. Paula - actually Sister Martinez - is off to the Scottsdale, AZ mission in a couple of days. She joined the Church and attended a year of Mom's seminary class a couple of years ago. Mom and Dad had her to dinner earlier that day, after church - she will be a great missionary.
Open house (2) was at the Hix's in Arcadia Ward for the Steimle's who are moving to Bakersfield for employment. No striped twins at Arcadia, although she did run into a childhood friend who's daughter lives in the stake.
It was a great day. Paula went into the MTC today. So proud of her.
