Family Friday Flashback (EARLY)

This is Ilo Leslie Smith, father of Beverly Rene Smith Hodgkinson.  We are having our Family Friday Flashback early because today is his birthday.  He was born on April 16, 1905 in Murray Utah (109 years ago).  His parents were Manasseh Smith and Grace Gilbert.  He was the second of four children, two girls and two boys.   We will have future posts about his life, profession, schooling, family life, but for today I will just say HE WAS FUN!!  He loved to tell stories, he loved to tell jokes, he loved to laugh at his own jokes. (I wonder where Grandma Bev Hodgkinson got her fun spirit???)   He was just plain fun. My Grandpa Lewis Martin Hodgkinson died before I was born, my Grandma Inez Player Smith died when I was 2 and my Grandma Mary Armina Haws Hodgkinson died when I was 7.   Les (that is what he went by) died in 1980, a couple of days after Jason was born.  I truly have specific memories about him. Here he is at our wedding reception.  I am thankful to have a grandpa that was fun.
