UNCLE KAY

Saturday was a day spent with the wonderful Neeley side of the family.  Grandma Cornwall (Lenore Neeley Cornwall)'s brother, Ken (Kay) Neeley passed away on Dec. 26.  Uncle Kay had been in decline for a number of years.  It was a day to celebrate the life a great man and the legacy of his great family.
Representing Lenore were Jon and Cherie and Kent and their spouses.  Kevin and his family attended the service in Aliso Viejo (the did not come up to Rose Hills in Whittier where the photos were taken.)
All of Uncle Kay's sisters traveled to be there (except Lenore who passed away 11 years ago.)
It was really nice to see and visit with dad's Neeley aunts and uncles. (Back Row - Uncle Walt Buehner, Uncle David Neeley from Salt Lake, Uncle David Egli, Uncle Jon Heeley.  Front Row - Aunt Joanne Buehner from Gilbert, AZ, Aunt Marilyn Knudsen, Aunt Christy Mix from  Gilbert, AZ, Aunt Susan Elgi from Salt Lake, Aunt Nola, Aunt Lynette Neeley just returned from a mission in Palmyra to their home in Newhall.

Below are the (Kay & Nola) Neeley Cousins
Nathan Neeley & Shandi who live in St. George, UT
Nanette (Neeley) & Jeff Turner who live in Aliso Viejo (very close to their Grandma Neeley)
Matthew Neeley & Angela from Upland, CA
Brian Neeley & Heidi who are from Madison, WI (with a son on a mission in Denver)
Scott Neeley & Jeanine who live Laguna, CA (with a son on mission in Kansas).

  2. I really enjoyed the post. I have several memories with the Neeleys, even a memory of Christmas Eve at Kay and Nolas house. It is also so fun to see Dad's aunts and cousins. I am proud to be part of the Neeley line.
