| We had the great opportunity to have the Zellers and the Gannon's spend a little time with us. They had just finished a trip to Disneyland and were headed up the California coast. They spent the night with us, went to church with us and had the rare opportunity to Skype with Bennett and Emary with both of his Grandmas and Pappas in the same room (yes in the laundry room). A lot of the weekend was talking about what Robb did - where did he sleep, what did he do here and there - looking at all the pictures and the comparisons to Bennett. |
We really loved having the Gannons and Zellers (Robb's in laws) stay with us. They have been so hospitable to us on our numerous trips to Boston. We were so glad to have them in our home... the home most notable because Robbie grew up in it. They are a special family and one with which we are most grateful to have ties. Possibly, 336 is not as fun (quite) as the Disneyland Hotel, but hey... I bet you can't pick all the tangerines off the tree you can eat, or have your fill of Grandma Cornwalls hot-out-of-the-oven chocolate chip cookies... even at THE Happiest Place on Earth.
ReplyDeleteOH I like this post! Thanks so much for hosting my family. They had a wonderful time. I must say that skyping did make....well everyone in our little family very jealous. Finally my Dad got to pick fresh tangerines! What a lucky guy!
