Putnam County Spelling Bee

Dad and I had a great night of watching Centre Stage's Production of The Putnam County Spelling Bee.  There were three Federoff's in the cast, but there were plenty of old friends.  Dad and I hadn't seen the show - the only song I knew was "I SPEAK SIX LANGUAGES."  We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.  The cast was awesome - fun, funny and touching.  Can't say enough good things about it.

One of the very cute concepts in the show is that they call out three names from people in the audience to be in the first act - participating as spellers and dancers.  Stephanie Federoff was called up - she was great at just jumping in - so there were really four Federoffs.  Nothing Lugubrious going on in this show.

  2. We were on tap to go but got delayed by a malfunctioning computer - and the technician across the ocean who was working on it via phone! Sorry to have missed it.
