Mt. Timpanogos Campground

There's nothing like a good ole' family camping trip to make for a fun weekend. To celebrate Mom and Dad being in town, we headed up to the mountains with them and the Andersons for a night in the wilderness. We set up camp in a prime site at the Mt. Timpanogos campground (thanks Jeff) and enjoyed the long hours of daylight. We explored the trails nearby, set up a hammock, made delicious tin foil dinners, roasted marshmellows for s'mores and had a jolly good time. Surprisingly, we finished dinner and dessert before the daylight faded.  Everyone got a good night's rest in their lovely tent and woke up to a breakfast of pancakes and fruit provided by the Andersons with Dallin as head chef. Camping with the family...it doesn't get better than that.

  2. Now that was a pritty good day... at the campground. I'd certainly recommend camping with Jeff and Reesa and those fun, great camper Andersons. Hannah was right in there enjoying everything on her first camping trip. One cannot fully feel the joys of camping unless they have a couple of young boys along to relish the rocks, sticks, fire, sleeping bags, tents, bugs, dirt and smokey food. Great photo documentary J & R.

  3. Favorite picture: Daniel and Seth with their s'mores. That probably would have been worth flying back from Thailand to experience. (Also, fudge cookies?! Brilliant!)
