Oh boy or should I say oh MAN! Nice shots. You bring shaving to a whole new level. What was the occasion? where did you get the shaving equiptment. and did you grow the facial hair for the shave or are you sporting the scruffy look now-a-days. Thanks for posting
With the official BYU honor code not breathing down my neck, I don't shave everyday so I've been shaving with a razor every 3 or 4 days. Seeing the article and already admiring a couple generations ago, I thought it would be fun to start shaving like...my grandpas!
I got the brush and shaving soap for Christmas and then bought the razor/blades online.
I'm not sporting the scruff necessarily, but do get scruffy if I neglect to shave regularly. Reesa likes me clean shaven so I've been shaving more often with her around.
May I attest to the effectiveness of the safety razor? This man's face is as smooth as a baby's backside, even going into day two. It may be too early to make such statements, but I'll go ahead and say this may end up being one of the best (if not THE best) purchases of 2012.
Well... I think it is SAFE to say that is a pretty retro' shave. Nice photo imagery. What a mannnn!
ReplyDeleteI don't see blood dripping off your chin so it must have gone very well. I love the documentation - especially in black and white.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the questions Robb, I wanted give some explanations in advance, but thought it would be fun to just have an illustrated story.
ReplyDeleteI came across an article on the website the Art of Maniliness called "How to Shave like Your Grandpa":
