I took a walk/run in my new shoes that dad got me for my birthday - what joy!! I have to love this old pair - they have been my companions every day for the last couple of years. They look pretty beat up, but the sad thing is they have looked like that for a long time, when they were pretty new I wore them on a hike to Monrovia Canyon Falls and they got dusty right away and they have looked pretty bad since. I'm saving them from my hikes to the falls. Thanks dad!!
Mom, what a fun post. We are excited to see your new shoes in person and hike the falls with you in your old shoes.

ReplyDeleteHey that is when you know you are being consistent when you wear your shoes down like that. Way to go!!! On a side note you and MB could be walking buddies because she has the exact same nikes.
ReplyDeleteWhether it is right or wrong, good or bad, I was my shoes. Sometimes I just get so frustrated by their dirtiness that I don't care what happens in the wash. I have never been disappointed. It has worked great for me so far! I will put bleach AND detergent directly on the shoes and wash and soak. I let them dry outside in the sun.
