LA LIVE - 1
Mom had her what-she-evo-wanted date to The Staples Center on Saturday night. There will be a "LA LIVE - 2" post to cover the game and other activities at L.A. Live (the "hot" area around the Staples Center). But first....
In the Noika Plaza, the main public square at L.A. Live, a special exhibit had opened just the day before. This was the world premiere showing. It is called REALIZE.
Having been educated about 'Installation Art' by the great installation artist - Jeff, Mom and I stopped to appreciate the massive conglomeration of aluminum tubes, cable and (?) punching bags(?). It looked very complex.
It was interesting from the side, but it was not until we were actually walking away from it that we looked back at the piece directly on... WOW!
It was a very fun RE-ALI-ZATION.
If you (Jeff?) want to know more about REALIZE and the aritist. Click on the logo - the top image of this post.

Jeffrey - thanks for the education on installation art - I really loved this piece (and the date that helped me see this piece of art - more to come!!!)
ReplyDeleteWow, there are some talented artists out there. I don't think I could ever think of that or if I could I wouldn't know how to construct it.
