Our Wonderful Simple Moments
I have found out that if you wait for a big spiritual event to happen to bear your testimony, you don't get to bear your testimony that often, it is in simple everyday experiences where great things can happen. The same as posting, if we always wait for something so fun and wonderful or until pictures are edited we don't post as often. So this post is to the small and simple everyday activities that make life great.
Bennett is a homie, it has been coming out as of late. Meaning he likes to be home with us and play all day long.

Bennett is the happiest baby we have ever had, we try to make him laugh as often as possible, but what happens is he makes us laugh much more than we can get him to laugh.
He still loves to play with this little teddy. He also has become quite the trickster.(Its hard to see but he wiggled his little foot out of the bottom of his sleeper.)
We try to read a book or two to Bennett everyday, we have stopped reading them to him right before he goes to bed, because usually the books put him right to sleep.
Bennett has been loving the transition from only milk to the addition of baby food. He has tried many different kinds but as you can see his favorite is chocolate pudding.......just kidding nothing like eating some prunes, he has no idea what good food tastes like.
One of his favorite things to do is to snuggle with Marybeth. He just loves getting all up close and personal and it makes him fall right asleep. Marybeth likes it too, until she wakes up with a dead arm.
He has not quite got the whole "I can move on my own" concept yet, which is fine with us it is nice to know you can put him somewhere and come back to find him in the same spot, only now he is in different positions than we put him in.
Bennett has grown to love the bath, it is his favorite part of the day. His hair has also grown over time and we have a fun time playing with it and doing up the do.
Bennett is growing up so fast. He loves to spend time with Marybeth and I but he always wants to control what we do when we are on the computer.
Bennett has been doing such a great job sitting up. He loves to have a lot of toys around him to choose from and spend some time with each of them.
We recently set up his crib. He loves to play in it and take naps in it. One of these days he will move out of our room and have the whole room to himself.

  3. Either that boy smiles A LOT, or you guys or you guys are really good at keeping the camera ready to record every jolly grin. I'm I thinking Bennett is just a happy, happy guy. His smiles certainly generate easy smiles by those of us who get to look at him.
