Mom & Dad had a most special trip to Nauvoo, primarily to be there for our eldest son's eldest son's blessing. We are so proud and happy with Jason and Stefanie and their little family. We were very honored to share in a few moments of the great Whelchel family reunion. The setting, spirit and poignant saga of Nauvoo were wonderful to the heart and eye too.
The Nauvoo Pagent is, as it is intended and should be, one of the highlights of visiting that rich spot of earth and history.
Both of those movies were great! thanks for posting them!! We also had a great time in Nauvoo and really appreciate the sacrifice you made to come out and be there with us for Jarom's blessing. It was so special!

ReplyDeleteDad that made me so jealous of that trip. Wow Nauvoo is such a pretty place and you portrayed it so beautifully with pictures and videos. Love you so much mom and dad. Glad you got to have a little trip on your own with an extra bonus.
ReplyDeleteWhoa baby! Those were great videos which brought back some great memories for me. I can't wait to get back to Nauvoo someday and go into that beautiful temple again! I am glad you guys were able to go and see that cute family. They had some cute family pictures as well. I really enjoyed the music too! Thanks for sharing it with us
ReplyDeleteI want to go next time. I have always wanted to see the pageant and I am glad you got the chance. It sure brought back memories of YA tour for me.
