San Francisco

Last week we decided last minute to take a trip to San Francisco to see Dallin's sister Aubrey and her husband Kevin. We saw Pier 39 including the sea lions. We walked through Chinatown and had real Chinese food which was probably our first and last time. We went to Ghirardelli square and got our free sample. We ended the day with a great view of the Golden Gate Bridge. It sure is a fun city. Pier 39Beautiful Bay Ghirardelli Square

  1. Open up those Golden Gates.... Wow! You fit a lot into a little trip. The pictures are all great but I would have to rate my favs - the last one as #1 and the second to last as #2.

  2. That sounds like a very fun last minute trip to San Fran. My question is did you say Hi to the Full House Crew? That seemed like a lot of things to fit into one day, that is if you did fit it into one day. Marybeth and I are both asking ourselves out loud, How far way is San Fran from Hillsboro

  3. Great pictures - what a whirlwind trip. My favorite pictures - seeing that Daniel looks like he is going to have blue eyes - from the sailor picture and Elizabeth looking like she loves to see her name in print (it is our new desktop pictures!!!)

  4. okay, i can agree with mom's favorite two moments, but here are mine:
    a.) elizabeth checking out that ghiradeli chocolate something fierce!
    b.) little daniel looking slightly perturbed at being shot by the sun in the picture in front of the aquarium of the bay.

    i really like this family. [and don't anyone suppose that i like you less for having said that]

  5. Rachel;
    Thanks for highlighting those choice expressions. It made me go back and pay closer attention... and they are pretty fine moments.
