The PRIMOS and the CHAMPIONSHIP RUN
I thought I would fill in those Cornwalls that have not been on the intramural field the last few months and especially weeks.
The regular season went perfect, but to an outsider they might not understand why it was so perfect. I think in the 4 games we played we lost by an average of 5-6 goals. The good news was we were still losing but we were losing by less every game. The last game of the season we lost only 4-1 and that team ended up in the top division while we were sent to the lowest division.
The first game of the "Playoffs" we won 4-3. We started doing really well but everytime we scored they seemed to score, but we game out with the W. I had a Hat Trick for the game, and it was funny because I didn't score all year.
The second game was the best game of the year. We won 7-0. We played so well and they were not an amazing team, at least not compared to our team. By Half time it was 5-0 so we played 3 Guys back and 3 Girls up. It payed off because Rachel found the back of the net to make it 7-0.
The last game we played was on Wednesday. The were the first to score, and it was a girl so it was 2-0. It remained that way through the rest of the first half and most of the second. Then Mary scored on an awesome assist from Jeff to tie the game. The game ended that way and we had 5 mins of overtime. No one scored. So we went to Shoot outs. Jeff was first, he powered it to the upper corner, but it hit the post and bounced out. Thomas blocked the first attempt from the other team. Then Michelle as pictured below went next and she made hers. The next attempt from the other team was blocked again by Thomas. Then Mary made hers for us. The next PK for the other team went way over the goal. So if you are doing the math as you go we only need one more. I'm up and I am pretty nervous. The other team told me to miss it to make it interesting. I told them that I would. Luckily I was able to make it and we are on to the next round.
Our next game is tonight at 9pm. If we win tonight we go to the Championship. The Cornwalls have represented very well this year. My favorite is Jeff. He is so awesome. Everyone on the other team does not like him, says Travis Alvord that could hear the complaints from the opposing team. Wish us luck. I Scouted the team we are going to play tonight. They won 4-2 and I think it will be a good game.

This is our all-star defense. Jeff is Da-Bomb, But Marybeth and Rachel on the ends are quite the team. They are so great.
