This morning Mom is teaching one of the workshops at the Pasadena Stake's Women's Conference. I think her topic is ..."IS SERVICE FOR ME?" The whole theme of the conference is based on a political convention.. with a brass band, tap dancers, choir, etc... etc...
Mom can edit this post and share with us all about her part in the "production" and what the deal is with all the "ME"s.
Let's have a shout out to dad for helping my room look so fantastic. He was up before me this morning worrying about how to post the signs. It was quite a morning - an original production (about visiting teaching of course) with a 6 piece brass band, tap dancers and lots of broadway songs with words about Visiting Teaching - that was the opening session. The play was written by Lael Littke (Sister Terrill will know who that is.) If I were me I probably wouldn't have picked to come to my class - but I had about 30-40 in each of the two sessions and felt good about it. I got some yummy lunch afterward, a centerpiece and even some cookies. Thanks for the post dad!!!!
ReplyDeleteI do know about Lael Littke and would have loved to have attended. She's fave of mine!
ReplyDeleteAnd I would have picked your class - because it was probably great!!
I hear they are looking for a women's conference speaker in the Hillsboro Oregon stake. Mom are you available?
