WHEN FAITH ENDURES
Today was a joint third hour andwe did the "hymn testimony" where you share your favorite hymn and then everyone sings it. I wanted to share mine with you. The hymn that has probably meant the most to me in my BYU career is Hymn #128 When Faith Endures.I will not doubt I will not fear

For about two years every time I went into the practice room I sang this hymn. It gave me faith as I practiced for MDT auditions and YA auditions. I didn't know what the Lord had in store for my future and I just had to practice with faith that it would be worth my efforts. I knew what I wanted but as the song said I needed to align my will with the Lord.
Now I can testify that fear does depart when faith endures. I endured many years in faith and now I am an BYU Music Dance Theater Graduate and a YA alumni. This hymn got me through some had days, weeks, and years. I hope that it can be a strength to you sometimes when Faith is needed.

We are so proud of you Katie. You climbed and clawed and cried (a few times) to reach the top of the peak on which you had set your sights. It was a high peak with numerous obstacles on the way. And the best part is finding an eternal climbing buddy along the way.
