TRAIN Up A Child

We took the first day of spring break to visit Travel Town Train Museum in Griffith Park. Jason and Stefanie and Paisley joined Mom, Rachel and Sarah and even Dad.

Some additional pics as well as a few highlights from the Zoo at http://whelchels.blogspot.com/

  2. Dad,
Your movie making skills are amazing. You might consider a second career in producing films. I know of at least three incredibly talented girls that I bet would be willing to star. You might even be able to negotiate pretty good terms. It looks like you had a lot of fun. We are looking forward to your visit.

  4. There was a lot of hype for that video and boy did it live up to every ounce of that. I heard dad got a lot of excersize which it looks like he did. and I would like to second the comment made by Dallin that you did well and it looked like you had a few ideas in mind prior to even sitting down to make it. Great Video!! Even Gatnnos things so too. Way to go, you are bringing in bloggers from all over to watch your video.

  5. Thanks for all the nice comments fam. We will keep the vids. coming. I bet I've had more fun (and continue to do so) by making the vid having people watch it than in sitting in little train seat for the 4 minute ride on the mini Wabash Cannonball.

  6. Dad, Is there anything you are not good at because I have yet to find one. Great way to capture your fun day yesterday. I must say that Rachel and Sarah sure had some cute shots. If you zoom in they could be used as headshots. My favorite was when they were about to get run over by the train. The steam was a great special effect.

  7. Katie, You think the train about to run over your sisters was CG (computer graphics)? Maybe they were just being silly laying of the tracks for a picture and the phantom train really started rolling and blowing steam and then I had to dash head-on toward a moving locomotive and save them at the last minute as mothers screamed and grandmas fainted. Maybe! Or maybe just a little CG steam. Thanks for liking it - and saying so.
