The girls had a fun Tuesday Evening being in Shelly McArdle's FLY WITH ME Senior Recital. These are always fun for Mom and me too, not just to see Rachel and Sarah on stage but to associate with the very nice people of the Centre Stage family.
I really think Dallin should have gotten an internship in LA so I can come see all this fun shows you girls will be in the next few years.
Great Dancing in Everythings Coming up Roses. Did you have to learn that choreography just for this show or did you know it from something else.
Great Piano playing Rachel and your page turner looked like a pro. How much did you have to pay her?
Thanks for the Joshua Novack cut dad. For those who don't know. Dad and I went on a Daddy Daughter date to see Susan Egan in concert (she was the original Belle). She sang that song and I looked for the music everywhere but could never find it. Thanks for that fun memorable date DAD!!!!
Great Alto's Lament. That is the first time I have heard it as a trio and it worked really well. You are quite the actress Rachel and you sang all the high notes (C, Night). You sounded great. Cute black top. Where did you get it?
I never would have thought I would hear an Avenue Q medley in a Senior Recital but it sounded great. Sarah what shirt were you wearing because it was very flattering on you. I love the color.
Oh "Annie"!!! Cool Backdrop. Sure brings back some fun memories Girls. Remember how little Jeff was when we did that, Drake!!! When he gets home we need the four of us (plus baby Anderson) to sit down and watch it. I think my tummy will hurt afterwards from laughing at how little we all were.
Sarah, I am glad Dad zoomed in on your smile, smile, smile, darn ya smile because you have a fabulous smile. Thanks for sharing.
Rachel, I hate to say it but you don't pull of Oliver now as well as you did several years ago. That song sure has shown how much you have grown physically and talent wise. (PS that Oliver shirt is a getting a little short!!!!!)
SARAH YOU ARE A TROOPER!!!! I think If I were you I would have wanted to run off the stage with Shelly, but you stuck it out. Way to be!!
I hate to say it but this didn't look like Shelly's recital, I know it is probably because of the clips dad took but in my book the Cornwall girls stole the stage once more!!!!!!!
PS After just completing my own senior recital I can't believe how many people she had in it. Just from these clips it seemed to take away from Shelly. Just something to consider for the next two senior recitals that will be coming up in the next four years.
Such a fun show - Shelly was very predominant - we just didn't film that part. It was nice to be with the Centre Stage Family - especially the Knights!!!
Katie: I second Mom's comment - Shelly was the wonderful star. It was a couple of hour program - the video is about 10 minutes - the 10 minutes the Cornwall girls were on stage; the same 10 minutes that the large ensemble was on stage. It is fun to share this with all your friends which whom you have performed so many times. Katie, you are right in that one can get a very warped image of the show based on Dad's very provincial videoing. Hey, it's the "Cornwall" blog ya know.
