Seminary Feast

The Seminary students were shining stars today. They were the speakers and singers in the Monrovia Ward Sacrament Meeting. It was a spirit-filled meeting and very uplifting. That meeting is usually followed by a breakfast put on by the seminary teachers - but without doing two wards Sister M. and I decided that they should get right to class. The kids weren't all pleased with this decision and so many of them came over after the 3-hour block for snack which consisted of Jordan Zepeda at the stove making us Mashed Potato Tacos - Zepeda style. We had a great time visiting and eating. I love hanging out with those kids!!!

  1. It truly was a 'feast' - the Sacrament Mtg. (not the tacos). We have (continue to have) youth second to none in Monrovia. How fortunate our high school kids are to have Sister C. and Sister M. greet them and treat them each morning. And their Seminary Choir, which sang two numbers was great too.

  2. Mom,

I am pretty sure that you have to be one of the best seminary teachers ever. Someday I hope the Lord gives me an opportunity to teach early morning seminary; you have sure set a high standard for what the Lord expects. Rachel and Sarah, I am sure you both did great. The three of us are sorry we couldn't make it.
