INCREDIBLE RIDDLE Rachel, Dad and Mom combined their efforts today to save 9 lives. (Supermom was particularly super incredible in the face of sure pain and injury and lot's of blood.) What did they do?
Okay, before this post gets too far down and Dallin and the rest of you spend too much time trying to figure this out -I will unfold the riddle to you. Rachel was involved with a project at school yesterday morning. That sounds like it might be good chance for pain and blood doesn't it. Rachel implored Mom and me to participate. She said that our involvement and sacrifice would save 3 LIVES EACH. She was volunteering too sooooooooo, 3 x 3 is 9 lives saved if we participated.
Let's put together the hints. A Swiss Army knife is identified by what? a Red Cross, right? The other hints "blood" and "Mom feeling much" better" are obvious. We all know Mom has Grandpa Hodgkinson's proclivity to get a little faint at the sight of blood and to get more than a little faint at the sight of a lot of blood, especially her own......
Okay, you got it now? Too much hard thinking at the end of long week? The Red Cross (Swiss Army knife) had a Blood Drive at the high school. You have to be 17 or older to participate - thus Sarah's hint. The Red Cross thanks your donation by telling you that every pint of blood you donate saves 3 LIVES!!!!
I know I know here is a hint. I was not of age to do it. Hope that helps!!
ReplyDeleteWe seem to have you all stumped on this one. A (little) hint is "think of a swiss army knife".
ReplyDeleteWe are stumped over here on this side of the mississippi. But will continue to look into it.
ReplyDeleteI edited the wording in the original post and added some words for another hint.
ReplyDeletep.s. Mom is feeling much better this morning is pretty much back at 100%.
