Look out East Coast here we come! Mom C., Dad C., Rachel, Sarah, Grandpa C., Jason, Stefanie, Paisley and (let see was there someone else, Oh yeah...) Robbie are Boston bound before you know it! Katie and Dallin are to be booked soon.
Yeah, Yeah, I know the family picture is not up my usual standard. I was trying to do something with it this morning and I ran out of time and wanted to get the news out. What is important is that we are all (Jeff is in our hearts and minds) going on a trip which will be very, very memorable.
p.s. I did not publish the dates of our trip/flights on the blog since I don't think it is a good idea to let the world know when we (all but our Uncle Horace - with the two mean dobermans and gun collection - who lives with us this time of year)will be spending a few days on the opposite coast.
Daddy, what a great post. Our family is getting so big which is great but weird. Dallin and I are finalizing our plans. I told Dallin I wanted to see every show on Broadway so we think we stay an extra week or two so that we can see them all. I think Dallin also arranged lunch with Sutton Foster and her husband. Boy, did I marry a great guy. (Sidenote, YES Sutton married her long time boyfriend who played Jimmy with her on Broadway and was in the original cast of Spamolot.) I am so excited.
I wish you all could have been part of the booking party last night. You should have seen dad - researching absolutely everything!! Dallin was his partner in research (Katie, I told you Dad and Dallin were alike in more ways than one). The biggest strategic moment for me to watch last night though was on picking the seats. These were the variables to be considered - should we sit across from each other or in front of each other to buffer any sound Paisley might make, what part of the plane should we be in, the other strategy that needed to be dealt with - especially on the flight home that wasn't that heavily booked was - do we spread out in hopes that if we only reserve two seats on one row someone will not book a seat beside us so that we can have a comfy ride back to L.A. Dad went through all the scenarios - we will have to see how it turns out - all I know is that I am not sitting by myself!!! That is the reward for being dad's booking buddy.
A P.S. to Katie's comment; not only was Sutton's new husband Jimmy in Thoroughly Modern Millie but he was also the Ebay commercial guy in my favorite singing Ebay commercial.
I can tell you were in a hurry, because you blotted someone out in the picture, and I don't know if you realized it, but Marybeth was in the original shot, and I must say I favor that one more. We are going to visit her in her home town, But I am excited to fly with such a fun group of people. To boston and beyond.
I favor the original shot more too Robb, the one with the very cute Marybeth in it. Had my original idea of photo editing worked out I was trying to get the whole family sitting on the airplane "flying to Boston". And of course Marybeth is already IN Boston so of course she would not be ON the plane with the rest of us. Get it? Got it? Good!
YAY! We are SOO excited!
